Cathie Ann Garner

Cathie Ann Garner (Hajduk), age 79, of Youngsville, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 26th, peacefully at her home surrounded by family.   Cathie was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan in 1944 to Adelaide and Alexander Hajduk.  Throughout her life, she was a nurse, office manager at Weik Law and a dental practice, but her most important and beloved role was as a loving mother and homemaker. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adelaide (Ammy) and Alexander. She is survived by her sister Gail, three children, Terri Weik (Garner) and her husband Rick, Michael Garner, and David Garner. She will also be remembered fondly by her 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

Cathie was also a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, and a fantastic cook who will be missed dearly by all those who came into contact with her.  In her own words, she “believed in God, family, love, smiles, hugs, and also the little things in life.”  She lived to the fullest and leaves her family and friends with years of great memories. 

The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering at a future date.
