Perseveranda (Gines) Santos

Perseveranda Gines Santos, age 81, died on March 27, 2024. She was born in Caranglaan Pangasinan - Philippines on August 22, 1942.

She is survived by her husband Sergio A. Santos, daughter, Christine Turner (Ken), son, Robert Santos (Mycal), grandsons, Brendan Staub, Dustin Staub, brother, Tripilo Gines (Mila), sister, Julieta Baniqued (Ray), brother, Cornelio Gines (Maria).

Percy received her master’s in Elementary Education and a 2nd master’s in early childhood, both from East Carolina University.

She loved singing Karaoke and was a self-professed Shopaholic. She enjoyed dancing the night away with friends, traveling the world and feasting with family, and quiet nights with her husband watching their favorite shows. Percy donated to various religious and children’s charities.

Family and friends are invited for visitation between the hours of 
5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in the Magnolia room of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted in the main sanctuary of St. Catherine of Siena in Wake Forest on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.

Inurnment will be held in the Memorial Gardens of St. Catherine of Siena at a future date.
